We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We take your privacy seriously and will use your personal information (or data) only for the purposes and on the legal bases for the collection and processing of your personal data on the terms specified below. We tried to write this Privacy Policy as clear and in as plain language as only our lawyers could manage to do. By doing so we hope you will get all information to be assured your personal information is safe with us.

This Privacy Policy for Hiring and Education (“Privacy Policy”) explains when, where, and why we collect personal information about people who apply to Apriorit with hiring or educational purposes, how we use it, the conditions under which we may disclose it to others, your rights in respect of your personal information, as well as how we keep it secure.

1.  What we do

Apriorit is a software development company, which was established in 2002. We have many years of experience in system programming, cybersecurity, reverse engineering, SaaS/Web, blockchain-based solutions, and artificial Intelligence.

Working with high-profile clients (including several Fortune 500 companies), we have over many years achieved high standards in software development, communication and effective team work.

Several times a year we hold development courses to provide beginner developers with the opportunity to improve their professional skills and start their career in IT.

Since 2008, we have held curses for 31 different groups and trained more than 600 specialists, many of whom work for us.

On this website we will publish our courses and we invite you to join them to level up your skills. We are also interested in finding creative and motivated specialists. So, below you will find a description of how we process the data of all candidates who are interested in studying on our courses or open vacancies.

2. What is personal information and what is processing of personal information?

Personal information is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person. 

Processing of the information means any action with your personal data, for example, collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, use, disclosure by any means and so on.

3. What type of information is collected from you?

Apriorit may collect personal information from persons applying to available courses and internship such as full name, email address, phone number, personal data that you can disclose us in the CV and cover letter, name of the university you are studying at / graduated from, name of the faculty you are studying at | / graduated from, name of the specialty you are studying at / graduated from, year of study that you currently in, graduate year, previous work experience, the country and city in which you reside or practice and level of your knowledge (required technologies for a course and/or English language), desired level of income after completing the courses, previous participation in programming courses, and other information that could be collected during the course such as recordings of online video meetings, interviews or assessments, in particular information that may include in your materials of the executed exercises, test work or the created project, information you provide to us during written communication with us, feedback on the educational process.

We may also ask you to provide us with a postal address to send you a certificate of training course or internship if you wish to obtain it in hard copy.

Regarding persons applying to available vacancies Apriorit may collect personal information such as full name, email address, phone number, information that you fill in application forms regarding your employment history that include, name of company where you work/worked, your professional designation, the country and city in which you reside or practice, education, a brief description of work experience, level of your knowledge (required technologies and/or English language), your soft skills, as well as your personal data that you can disclose us in the CV, cover letter, as well as recordings of online video meetings, interviews or assessments, information you provide to us during written communication with us, feedback on the recruitment process.

If you choose to use your resume exported from Indeed to apply for the course or to available vacancies, then we will be able to view and save the information you have filled in your resume, or if you choose to apply via LinkedIn, we will be able to use and save your name, photo, the primary email address associated with your LinkedIn account and the information you publish on this service.

Apriorit do not collect sensible data such as race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data, information about criminal convictions and offences.

Apriorit may also collect online identifiers and cookie identifiers that give the opportunity for the Apriorit obtain and analyze the technical information such as frequency of visits to website, IP address, site pages most frequently accessed, browser type etc.

Online and cookies identifiers alone are non-personally identifiable information about users, however it can be combined with the personal information received from you in order to create profiles of your actions on website or your preferences and that is why you need to be aware of the fact that such information is collected and processed. 4. Why does Apriorit collect information from you?


All the information Apriorit collects from you via this website is crucial for process your application for education or hiring. Apriorit collects and uses the information to:

1. provide the recruitment process and selection of candidates for participation in the Apriorit training program;
2. boost the quality of the educational services you get from Apriorit ;
3. generate statistical studies and market;
4. communicate back to you;
5. provide you update on available courses, internship and vacancies;
6. to notify you of any crucial information or changes within the Apriorit which may affect you;
7. allow you to access educational services and ensure that you use this services in the most effective manner;
8. consider of potential employment opportunities or other cooperation;
9. provide an answer to your inquiries and provide you with information about the company and its activities, which we believe may be of interest to you.

If Apriorit decides to change the purposes of processing specified above, we will inform you on such changes prior to use your personal information within the newly set purposes. The notification on such changes will be sent to your email and you will have to provide your consent for the amended purposes unless additional purpose of processing is compatible with those listed above.

Marketing purposes of processing

We would like to additionally point at the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes that include:

1. analysing or predicting your preferences as to the educational services Apriorit provides on the basis of information on your behaviour on the Apriorit website or your feedback as well as from the publicly available information about you. We do that in order to understand which information will be the most relevant for you.
2. sending you the latest information on our services by email.

Please note that when the information is collected for these purposes you will be additionally asked for consent that such information is processed for the marketing purposes. Furthermore, you will at any time have the possibility to withdraw your consent free of charge by the clicking on a separate “Unsubscribe button” in the email sent or by telling the contact person that called you via the telephone that you withdraw your consent for further marketing communication.


5. Who will get access to your personal information?

By submitting your application for training courses, internship or an open vacancy within the Apriorit and by using it you agree to such transfer and processing within the purposes set in Section 4 of this Privacy Policy.

In all cases we pass the information to other persons we ensure that your information is being protected and used only within the purposes specified in Section 4 of this Privacy Policy. This is achieved by using only certified services and products, signing agreements on protection of personal data with contractors as well as taking technical measures to ensure the information is protected when stored, used and while being transferred.

Apriorit may give access to your personal information in the following cases:

• to its group companies, professional advisers, third party services providers and partners who provide data processing services to Apriorit:

Apriorit hires people, enter into the agreements with independent contractors as well as cooperates with other services providers, companies and organizations in order to provide a high-quality service. For those reasons some of your personal information can be passed to the persons/ organizations mentioned.

For example, Apriorit uses:

• Breezy HR platform for tracking your application form (Breezy HR`s Privacy Policy).

• Moodle platform for selection candidates for courses (Moodle`s Privacy Notice). This platform is controlled by our staff. It stores the contact details of candidates, their attempts and test results.
• TrackTest platform for cheaking your English skills (TrackTest`s Privacy policy).

• OVH Cloud Platform is a cloud computing service to store and process information needed to provide services. Gravelines Data Center (OVH GRA-1) is located at 59820 Gravelines, Nord-Pas-de-Calais-Picardie, France and the second one OVH is located at Roubaix, France 2 Rue Kellermann, 59100.
• All data concerning the communication are reserved in the Google Cloud Platform (for business purpose) and data collected via Moodle platform is located at 59820 Gravelines, Nord-Pas-de-Calais-Picardie, France. Data related to general contact information and their backups, educational outcomes used for analytics purposes, video of interviews recorded within the hiring process are stored on the OVH located at Roubaix, France 2 Rue Kellermann, 59100. 
• Also we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service by Google Inc., and Facebook Pixel, the “visitor action pixels” from Facebook Inc.

These services we use to collect analytical data about how you use our website.

We use Google Analytics in order to analyze use of our Website and regularly improve it. We use the statistics obtained to improve our products and make them more interesting to you as a user.

Facebook Pixel allows your behavior to be tracked after  you have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This enables us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, i.e. we do not see the personal data of individual users.

Apriorit may have contractors and subsidiaries in other countries. Your data may thus be accessed by the IT services contractors of Apriorit in Ukraine, or other countries: Hungary, Turkey, Spain, Germany, Bulgaria, Georgia, Austria, Portugal, Greece. In case the transfer of your data to the recipients in these countries occurs, it will be secured by the Standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission and compliant with the EU data protection laws.

• to any competent law enforcement body, regulatory, government agency, court or other third party where Apriorit believes disclosure is necessary (a) as a matter of applicable law or regulation, (b) to exercise, establish or defend its legal rights, or (c) to protect your vital interests or those of any other person.

Apriorit may disclose your personal information to enforce and comply with the law. In other words, Apriorit may disclose information necessary for the investigation or legal process on official request or the official bodies acting within their powers as well as to protect vital interests of data subject.

6. How long will the personal information be processed and stored by Aptiorit?

Your personal information will be stored by Apriorit within the term of your studying on the Apriorit training course and up to your completion of the training course which means the deletion of your profile with your personal data from the Apriorit data storage and services. Apriorit shall terminate the processing of your personal information and delete it as soon as it becomes clear that the purpose for which this data was processed is no longer relevant unless the special retention period for the storage of such data is set by the relevant legislation.

We may keep records of course lectures that may include your personal data for an indefinite period of time for internal use for the training of our contractors. We guarantee that this data will not used for any purpose other than the above.


7. Your rights regarding your personal information Apriorit collects and processes

7.1. You have a right to request Apriorit to access to your personal information

That means that you can ask Apriorit what personal information of yours is being processed as well as for the clarifications on the information described above, i.e. purpose of collecting and processing, period of processing, third parties that have access to information.

7.2. You have a right to request Apriorit to rectify your personal information

This means you can ask all the inaccurate personal information concerning you being corrected. You can also complete the personal information if you feel there is a need to do so.

7.3. You have a right to request Apriorit to erase personal information

You can request Apriorit to erase such data if its processing is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected as well as if there are no legal grounds for the processing. In most cases Apriorit will erase it unless otherwise will be required by legislation.

7.4. You have a right to request Apriorit to restrict the processing of your personal information

In some cases, prescribed by law you will be able to restrict the processing of your personal data, for example if you contest the accuracy of your personal information being processed or in case Apriorit will not be interested to process your personal information any longer, but you will want Apriorit to do this on different reasons, for example, to bring some claim for somebody and instead of the erasure of information its processing will be just restricted.

7.5. You have a right to withdraw consent.

You can withdraw your consent for the collection and processing of your personal information by Apriorit at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. After we at Apriorit receive such withdrawal from you we will process it in a timely manner and no longer process such information unless the obligation to proceed is set by law. The phrase “in timely manner” is deciphered below.

7.6. You have right to data portability

You have the right to obtain in a machine-readable format your personal data for the purpose of transferring it from one controller to another, without being prevented from doing so by the data processor.

8. Time for reply and reaction

Apriorit will provide information on action taken on your request related to your rights specified above within one month of receipt of the request for the longest. Request can be extended by a further two months if the request is complex or if numerous requests were received from the individual. The individual must be informed within one month of receipt of the request with an explanation as to why the extension is necessary.

9. Right to complaint

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority that is empowered to process such complaints in your country.
 
10. How Apriorit protects personal information?

Apriorit takes technical and organizational measures to ensure the information is processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of information, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage. For example, Apriorit uses verified contractors that might have access to the data as specified in Section 5 of the Privacy Policy with which the relevant data processing agreements are signed.

11. Legal basis for the collection and processing of personal information

Apriorit will collect your personal data on the following legal basis:

a) Legitimate interest – where the processing of your personal information is needed for recruitment process and selection of candidates for participation in the Apriorit  training program, as well as to comunicate with you and provide you of any crucial information or changes within the Apriorit which may affect you;

(b) for the performance of a contract – where the processing of your personal information is needed for fulfillment of our obligations to you to provide our training course;

(с) on the base of your consent to provide you with marketing information about our services and for generate statistical studies and market, or in other cases where your consent is needed to do so.

12. Cookies

What are cookies? Cookies are pieces of information a website transfers to your computer’s hard disk for record-keeping purposes. We use both session and persistent Cookies. Cookies can either be persistent (i.e., they remain on your computer or device until you delete them) or temporary (i.e., they last only until you close your browser). By accepting this Privacy Policy, you also give your consent to Apriorit to use cookies to make the educational platform more efficient, fast, and safe, to improve its functioning. 13. Changes to the Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time so please check this page to ensure that you’re happy with any changes. The additional notifications on any amendments will be sent to your email. 

14. Are you already 16 years old?

The privacy of children is one of our concerns as well. Here at Apriorit we can provide services only in case you as the user are aged 16 or older. If you are under 16 you will need to get your parent’s/guardian’s permission before submission any private information to Apriorit.
